#GoodVibeTribe

In order to truly elevate, you have to welcome change. The whole concept of "No new friends" is the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard....in the entire world....well...next to Trump becoming President. Nevertheless, over the past few months, I've connected with some AWESOME women. Not to deter from my previous friendships or to lessen the value of those friendships in my life, but this new energy of like-minded Queens who embrace many of the same goals as me is AMAZING.
You see, we live in world where, let's keep it real, some women just don't like to see other women WIN. Whether it's hating that someone's business is thriving, or hating that she got engaged, or hating that she got a promotion, or hating that she walks to work singing at the top her lungs, or hating that she's beautiful AND smart, or just hating that she is smiling everyday is frustrating to some. The best thing about meeting new people who genuinely have common goals is that they want to see you WIN.
I've learned so much about myself from observing and listening to the to these women. We support one another by supporting one another's businesses or sharing words of encouragement. For me, it is so important to surround yourself with people who you truly admire; not for the purpose of idolizing anyone, but to feed off of their positive energy
and to encourage you in your own walk through life's circumstances. When they elevate, I naturally do a self check and ask, "Do you want them to leave you behind, or what choices and moves am I making to make sure that I am growing as well?"
Note that in life we all should imagine ourselves as seeds. We need to be sure that we are planting ourselves in good soil and watering ourselves daily. Although many different flowers bloom in the same soil, the soil must still be enriched with the properties to allow growth. Make sure that you embrace the pruning season, and remove all thorns and weeds that will hinder your growth. That means, people, places, and mindsets that are going to stop you from reaching your best self have to be removed.
When I changed what I thought about myself, when I changed the places that I chose to go, when I welcomed new people into my space who were so focused on their personal development, that I had to focus on mine, is when I truly started to live. I'm truly embracing this whole "Women Empowerment" movement. In rediscovering my motives in this life , its allowing me to embrace the strength of ALL women. To my Tribe of Queens, I am so thankful for the impact that you have had on my life.
