Meet Shahnel

Shahnel Woodley is the owner and founder of Dance101 and a passionate dance instructor dedicated to helping women build confidence, embrace self-expression, and reconnect with themselves through movement.

Since 2015, she has taught women of all ages, body types, and experience levels, creating an inclusive environment where everyone feels comfortable, supported, and encouraged to move without judgment.

Through chair dance and sensual movement, Shahnel helps women step outside their comfort zones, reconnect with their bodies, and embrace their femininity with confidence. Her approach is supportive and approachable, making Dance101 a space where women can challenge themselves while still having fun.

No previous dance experience is required. Dance101 is designed for beginners and welcomes women of all ages, sizes, and abilities. Whether you're completely new to dance or simply looking for a new way to move, each class offers an opportunity to learn, build confidence, and enjoy being present in your body.

The goal is simple: to have every woman leave Dance101 feeling more confident, empowered, and connected to herself than when she arrived.

Classes are 90 minutes and are held at United Dance Productions.
